Hanson's King Island Lodge is located on a beautiful 7 acre island in Sabaskong Bay on Lake of the Woods. A 12 mile boat ride from Nestor Falls, Ontario, King Island is located in the heart of some of the most productive waters in North America, with many fish species to choose from.
Hanson's King Island was established in 1926 and now offers both the full-service plan and do-it-yourself housekeeping options, in first class facilities. Nine fully modern waterfront cottages, each with a unique view of the lake, ring the island, offering you a cozy base from which to explore this incredible lake. White pines, hundreds of years old, tower above the cottages. The atmosphere is peaceful and the views spectacular. |
